Let’s Talk

I enjoy working with adults, adolescents, college students, young adults, and couples.  Everyone possesses unique and interesting characteristics, and I get pleasure from learning about new people and using their talents to engender a positive therapeutic experience.  Some people worry if they will be considered normal, or if their problems are considered normal problems to address in therapy. I believe that there is no such thing as normal. There are averages, what’s considered usual and mainstream, and there are societal expectations, but a true “normal” doesn’t exist. So please don't be concerned about that. We’ll work together on what you want for yourself; perhaps to feel healthy and strong and happy, and to reach your true potential.  Also, I am sensitive to and consider how ethnicity as well as gender, sexual orientation, age, and anything else that might impact how one functions psychologically.

Below is a list of issues and concerns people might come to see me about in therapy.
